Aunt Jen: "Have you two ever spoken?"
Sam: "Of course, we talk all the time."
Aunt Jen: "In person, with actual words, that the other person hears and then responds to?"
Sam: "What are we, Amish?"
Have you been watching "Life in Pieces"? It's on CBS but all of the segments are also on YouTube. Anyway, this episode really made me think a little bit about teenage culture right now. The complexity associated with online "liking" and even super-tiny social media interactions is portrayed in a satirical but pretty real way in this clip.
Do you think the show portrays teenage culture accurately?? Or do today's tweens/teens not get enough credit for their social skills?
I'd love to hear your reflections in the comments.
